A 70 years-old female patient was admitted to our neurological outpatient clinics with loss of consciousness and left-side hemiparesis. The cranial MRI showed that posterior limp of the internal capsule, the head of the caudate nucleus, lentiform nucleus and right incular cortex were involved with large infarction areas. Her diagnosis is cross aphasia after MRI and clinical signs. We described crossed aphasia due to left-side hemiplegia because of is rare condition.

Kranial MRG incelemesinde sağ lentiform nükleusu tamamen, kaudat nükleusun başını, kapsula interna arka bacağını ve sağ insuler korteksi tutan geniş enfarkt alanı mevcuttu. Görüntüleme sonrası elde edilen bulgular ve klinik tablo literatürle uyumlu olarak çapraz afazi tanısını desteklemekteydi. Sol hemiplejiye bağlı afazi tablosu nadir olması nedeniyle bu olgu takdim edilmiştir.
